Why you need it A failed update, an attack or a human error can break a site. Without a backup, restoring it may be impossible.

What a good backup looks like Automatic, regular (at least daily for e-shops), stored off the same server and tested to make sure it restores.

Before every change We always take a separate backup before upgrades and major changes.
